    Passionate About Disney?  New to the Travel Industry?

    We welcome applications from people who are new to the travel industry, but must be experienced travelers personally.  Our clients trust our advisors to plan some of the most important vacations of their lives.  Our advisors must have real, personal knowledge of Disney destinations to start the journey.  If your plan is to focus on Disney or Universal destinations, you must already have personal experience with them.

    What We Look For in New Agents to the Industry

    • Extensive personal experience visiting Disney destinations such as Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, or Disneyland.  If you would like to focus on Universal Orlando – you must have extensive experience visiting those parks and resorts.
    • You must be based in Canada, outside of Quebec
    • Willing to obtain your TICO certification
    • Willing to undergo a criminal background check
    • An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine commitment to building a client base
    • Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
    • Driven and self motivated to market your business
    • Comfortable with technology and working flexible hours to serve clients

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Do I need Disney and Universal experience to become a vacation planner with Playcation Travel?

    If you are an experienced travel advisor, we welcome applications regardless of your theme park background.  Your industry knowledge and client relationships speak for themselves and we are a full service agency.

    If you are new to the travel industry, we do require extensive personal experience visiting Disney or Universal destinations. Your firsthand experience is what allows you to advise clients with authentic knowledge and advice.

    Do I need my TICO certification to apply?

    You do not need it before applying – but obtaining it is a required part of joining the team. The TICO exam is available online and must be completed before onboarding.

    Is this a full-time or part-time opportunity?

    Playcation Travel advisors work as independent contractors, which means you set your own schedule. Many of our advisors start part-time and grow from there. The more you put into building your client base, the more you get out of it.  There is no salary, this is 100% based on commissions.

    Can I book travel other than Disney and Universal?

    Yes. While we specialize in Disney destinations, Universal Orlando, and cruises, Playcation Travel is a full-service agency. You can book all-inclusives, European travel, and other destinations for your clients – you never have to turn a booking away.

    Where are you accepting applications from?

    We are currently accepting applications from travel advisors across Canada, with the exception of Quebec.
