We welcome applications from people who are new to the travel industry, but must be experienced travelers personally. Our clients trust our advisors to plan some of the most important vacations of their lives. Our advisors must have real, personal knowledge of Disney destinations to start the journey. If your plan is to focus on Disney or Universal destinations, you must already have personal experience with them.

What We Look For in
New Agents to the Industry

Extensive personal experience visiting Disney destinations such as Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, or Disneyland. If you would like to focus on Universal Orlando – you must have extensive experience visiting those parks and resorts.
You must be based in Canada, outside of Quebec
Willing to obtain your TICO certification
Willing to undergo a criminal background check
An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine commitment to building a client base
Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
Driven and self motivated to market your business

Do I need previous travel industry experience to join Playcation Travel?

Not necessarily – while previous travel industry experience is an asset, it isn’t a requirement. What matters most is a genuine passion for travel, a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience, and a willingness to learn. Playcation Travel provides training and support to help new advisors get up to speed, and our peer support program connects newer advisors with experienced team members who are there to help along the way.

Is this a full time or part time opportunity?

Both – our advisors are independent contractors, not employees, which means you have the flexibility to build your business around your life. This is a commission based role, so what you put in is what you get out. Some of our advisors work full time and have built thriving client bases, while others started part time alongside other commitments and grew from there.

What is TICO and do I need it to join Playcation Travel?

TICO is the Travel Industry Council of Ontario – the government-mandated corporation responsible for regulating the travel industry and enforcing consumer protection laws for travel agencies in Ontario. Because Playcation Travel is an Ontario-based, TICO registered agency, all of our advisors are required to complete the TICO education requirements regardless of where they live in Canada. Your Playcation onboarding process will walk you through everything you need to know and make sure you’re set up properly before you start selling.
